“Bassist/guitarist/singer Harvey Dalton Arnold brings impeccable credentials as a Blues and Southern rock artist to the MM roster.”

As a member of The Outlaws from 1976-’80, he played on the million-selling albums “The Outlaws” and “Bring It Back Alive.”  He played at Madison Square Garden and Radio City Music Hall and shared the stage with the Rolling Stones at Anaheim Stadium.

The North Carolina native’s first love is the Blues. He cites Muddy Waters, Robert Johnson, and Freddy King as favorites. Listeners can hear echoes of BB King and Muddy in Arnold’s vocals- the falsetto to bass to falsetto in a single line.  Audiences frequently shower him with standing ovations in the middle of a song for his vocals alone. His left-handed finger-picking and slide playing on electric and acoustic guitars complement the singing of this exciting performer.

With fellow MM artist and drummer James “Bubba” Norwood, Arnold has formed the rhythm section on bass guitar for MM artists John Dee Holeman, Boo Hanks, and George Higgs. He was the original bass player for Mel Melton and the Wicked Mojos and serves as front man for the Phabulous Phunk Phamily, which also features Mr. Norwood.

Harvey Arnold was recognized in a page one story in the Durham Herald-Sun for his work as a job coach with developmentally disabled adults. As a musician and counselor, he entertains and inspires others with his extraordinary talents.
