The Carolina Chocolate Drops invite you to support the Music Maker Relief Foundation by purchasing a special VIP ticket for their performance on April 17th in Atlanta, GA with opening acts the Gee’s Bend Singers and   Music Maker artists including Sweet Betty, Eddie Tigner, Albert White, Lil’ Joe, Tommy Brown, Beverly “Guitar” Watkins & Mudcat.

 

VIPs receive backstage access for an exclusive pre-show artist reception and enjoy premium, reserved seating for the concert.  VIP ticket purchasers will also receive a gift bag PLUS free raffle tickets to win a banjo signed by performers.

VIP ticket funds support the Music Maker Relief Foundation, a nonprofit organization that nourishes the roots of American music.


The Details:


• VIP tickets are $50 each and will be available at door
• Tickets will include:

o Backstage access to artist reception
o Preferred concert seating
o Gift bag
o Raffle tickets for the chance to win a signed banjo

• VIPs should arrive at 7pm.  Concert begins at 8pm.

More about the Gee’s Bend Singers:
The Gee’s Bend singers have performed across the country in theaters as diverse as the Cleveland Playhouse and the Kansas City Repertory Theater to the Atlanta Symphony Hall and Davies Symphony Hall in San Francisco, to the US State Department. The singers are part of the internationally acclaimed quilt makers from Gee’s Bend, whose quilts have been exhibited at numerous museums across the United States, including the Whitney Museum of American Art, The Museum of Fine Arts Boston, The Corcoran, among many others. 
They have appeared on NPR, CBS Sunday Morning, PBS Newshour, the Oprah Winfrey Show and Martha Stewart Living, to name a few.
