Thank you Legendary Rhythm and Blues Cruise!
Music Maker wants to thank the Legendary Rhythm and Blues Cruise for helping us raise $28,000 for MMRF programs! The Silent Auction aboard Blues Cruise #18 included an American Stratocaster Deluxe, donated by Fender and signed by Bonnie Raitt, that raised $12,000 for MMRF! Philip and Nancy Sonner are now the proud owners of the guitar. Thank you as well to Jackson Browne, who made a gift to Music Maker to encourage participation in the Silent Auction.
Our first Blues Cruise raffle was a rousing success also! John Shelton won passage for two on Blues Cruise #19. Thank you to everyone who bought tickets for the chance to win the cruise, you helped raise $11,000 for Music Maker!

George Daniels Rocks Out - Just released!
![]()
Inspired by nearly 60 years of singing and playing deep blues, <
i>George Daniels Rocks Out reflects the Southern traditions of blues music as well as George Daniels’ unique sound. Daniels was born April 27, 1929 in Macon County, AL, where he grew up playing the blues. While making a living as a cowboy in the most rural county in Alabama, Daniels also fostered a talent in singing and strumming the blues. His album is a reflection of his Alabama roots and of the traditions and old ways in which he was raised.
“This recording was done late at night, while drinking his home made rye whiskey,” says Tim. “It is a rollicking time in the deep Alabama countryside.”
